Has anyone heard the story about the lady who stood for her daughter's healing. Okay, let me explain a little more. This lady and her daughter went to church faithfully for years. The daughter had a disease that kept her in a wheelchair, her bones were all drawn up and deformed. Her mother heard Jesus tell her that He was going to heal her daughter. When she went to church that night, she told everyone. Everyone was so happy. They rejoiced that the daughter would be healed and that the mother had heard from Jesus. Well, a week went by and the next sunday came up. When the mother pushed her daughter to church, people gathered to see if the daughter was healed. She wasn't yet. She was still in a wheelchair all disabled. Another week went by, then a month, and on and on. The mother kept saying her daughter would be healed cause Jesus said so. But by now, the other members were just being nice and nodding their heads 'yes' to her, but behind her back, the felt sorry for her. Well, one sunday before church, the mother heard from Jesus again. Jesus told the mother that He would heal her daughter that afternoon. The mother rushed to church and told everyone. She invited them over to be there when Jesus came to heal the daughter, who, by the way, was a young woman. Well, that afternoon, no one showed up. Time ticked away, and not one person came. I think it was about 3pm and still no one had come. But.... Jesus did. The mother and daughter were in the front room, I think, and this huge cloud entered the door and drifted over to the daughter. It covered her and the mother saw Jesus in the cloud. He healed the girl. The mother tells how you can hear the snapping of the bones, as Jesus put them all together the right way. When He was finished, the girl rose and was able to walk to church. Jesus also spoke to the mother before He left. Well, they went to church that night and shared their testimony. Wow. Anyway, from that point on, they have had a huge healing ministry and are known by many. Anyone know them? I don't. I don't doubt this story at all. I would just like to read the book.  stace |
