I just want to praise the Lord for working in my husband and mine lives! We have been in a drought lately in our walk for Him, kind of like our spiritual life and the summer weather here. We go to 2 different denominational churches in our area that we are not getting fed Faith. Being in a rural area, there are a couple of Faith churches over an hour away from us. I finally asked my husband if we couldn't please take a "mini vacation" from our Sunday morning church and go to one of these churches. We finally decided this coming Sunday was the day and I notified our Sunday morning church pastor that we wouldn't be there. Another couple from our Sunday night church called us up Monday and wants to meet this Friday night and have a Prayer, Bible Study meeting. This couple also believes in the power of God's word. All I could do after their phone call was praise God for working it all out. I pray that this is a start that there might be some Word teaching in our area and that God will make it grow and multiply into a regular meeting. It just seemed once we made the decision to move (put our faith in action), God opened another door for us. Praise the Lord!!!! Yes, Praise the Lord. We had our 2nd home Bible study and the Holy Spirit took over. One person received an annointing of healing others, and everyone of us present was ministered to last night! It was an edifying, faith building experience for us! I just thank and praise my Father for opening this door for us! God bless, Sis Chris |
