"The Golden Compass." We explained the book on which the film is based is the first of a trilogy, "His Dark Materials," written by Phillip Pullman, who is a self-avowed atheist. Oh Father, how we need Your help in these days of such lies and deceit. Lord, Your Word declares that "greater is He that is in you [us] than he who is in the world." Reveal Yourself in Your sons and daughters who strive to do Your will and have fellowship with You. Let not the enemy continually appear to be the victor when we know that we know that You have called us to be victors through Christ Jesus! Lord, You have given us authority over the land and we take that authority and come against the powers of darkness in Jesus' name! Holy One, reveal the subtle darkness that is in this movie, "Golden Compass" to each and everyone that unknowingly goes to see it. The enemy has set a lure in this film, hoping that the viewers will go from this innocent appearing movie to the books, much like the Harry Potter films. Once they do this, they will be filling their eyes and being with the enemy's lies and words of anti-Christ. Let it not be so, Holy One, in Jesus' name we pray. Reveal to them the darkness that is lurking in this movie and keep them from harms way, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. |
