Tennessee Woman Miraculously Healed of Painful Blood Disease "I have a whole new body. It has taken some time to get used to, but it literally feels like I have new bones, new muscles, new skin." Aimee Herd (December 17, 2007) (Cleveland, Tennessee)—Reporting for TruNews.com, Tiffany Rose gives account of the amazing and miraculous healing of 30-year-old Jennifer Wood, of Cleveland, Tennessee, which happened in September, 2007. To watch a video of Wood's own testimony, CLICK HERE: True News. Wood, it seems, had suffered her whole life with Porphyria, said to be a rare and incurable blood disease, which makes its victims extremely photosensitive to sunlight, and even spotlights, causing excruciating pain if exposed. "It's like my skin is literally lit on fire—a million beestings at once," described Wood. "And anytime I would get any prolonged exposure, I would blister, and I would swell up and turn purple." After undergoing repeated blood transfusions for only temporary relief of the pain, Wood was told by doctors that a bone marrow transplant would be a slim chance, at best, of curing the disease. However, the Great Physician had a different plan of action for the Tennessee woman. On a Friday night, September 21, Jennifer Wood's brother told her of a prophetic word given during a prayer meeting at his church. The word stated that "by Monday morning [she] would be healed." Wood, receiving help from her brother, and with much pain, was able to get to church that Sunday, the 23rd. She was covered in long skirts, gloves, veil, long sleeves, a cape and a hat to keep light away from her skin, and carried a cane for walking. When, toward the end of the service, a missionary read from Mark 16:18, , ‘They will lay their hands on those who are sick and they will get well,' Wood felt it was for her and made her way to the altar in front. Once there, Wood reportedly took off her gloves, hat, and veil, quickly realizing that something was different since the bright spot lights were not causing her pain. "I went outside, and I actually got to do what was fun for me," exclaimed Wood, who went out into the sunlight and found that it didn't burn her. "It felt good; it felt warm. I've never felt in my life the warmth of sunshine without feeling pain." To read the entire miraculous account from TruNews, follow the link provided. The Rest of the Article |
