Praise be to God for the safe delivery of our youngest daughter, B.J.'s, little boy. She went in this morning for an ultra sound and a non-stress test. The baby's heartbeat was staying around 145 beats when suddenly it started going down, as low as 22 beats per minute. The let it run for awhile but every so often the heart beat would dip down again, not quite as low as it did at 22 beats. Before long it was decided that B.J. would be sent to the hospital for an emergency c-section.
She arrived there a little before noon and at 12:25 p.m. her little son was born. A nurse came by to get the tray out of our other daughter's room (Teri, who had a son on Monday) and told us that she saw the baby on the scale and he was doing fine, no assistance in breathing, so praise the Lord. Then I went to the desk for more info but they didn't have any, other than baby and mommy doing good. Thank You, Lord! Thank You!!!

We left a short while ago and mommies and babies are doing wonderful. B.J. is a bit sore, but that is to be expected. Her son is a little cutie. At birth he weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. and is 19 inches long. Can't supply a name for you as she is still trying to decide which she likes better. LOL For now we will call him 'cutie' and loved a lot. Actually, earlier in her pregnancy when she was having trouble coming up with a name for him, she said she was going to call him "Hymn". When she said that, I responded with "Hallelujah" and that has been a running joke every since. To be sure, we lift "Hymns" and praises to our Lord who is so worthy. Thank You , Lord for these abundant blessings and bless these parents and guide them that they would raise these precious ones with the fear and admonition of the Lord, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Thanks for your prayers. We are truly blessed and appreciative. May the Lord reward you mightily for your faithfulness.

Love a proud Gramma,
Joan

Thank you so much ladies.

Yes, B.J. and her son will be living with us so it will be a new advanture for us all. Thanks for the prayers and support. The little guys temp dropped last night and they took him to the nursery to try and get it back up there. Could have been because the room was kind of cold compared to the nice, warm one he had in his mommy's tummy. But they brought back to our daughter's room before I left last night and will be keeping taps on him.

Thanks again. And great thanks and praise go to Him who is faithful and just plain wonderful!!! Thank You, Lord!!!

Love ya,
Joan
