I woke this am to the sound of alarm clock. A normal sound. But, what was not normal is that as I turned over to get out of my comfortable bed to go into devotion time, there were tears in my eyes. Not awake yet, and not having a dream to make me so sorrowful, my mind quickly put on an alert. I proceeded to get my coffee and enter into my prayer chambers. It was obvious, something was wrong. I began praying, and there was a strange feeling in my spirit. It prompted me to ask, "Lord, who has died?" I began to pray for my loved ones and friends, and stayed open for other people the Lord might put on my heart. Praying in the Spirit really had a focus, but I did not know what. I just read the news report that there was an earthquake in China. Thousands have died. During this time in prayer this morning, the Lord reminded me of a vision that He shared with me about three months ago. There was a large table, (about the size of a pool table), covered with a landscape setting of cities, and valleys. It was a miniature model of things and places on earth. Then, the Lord took several cups and placed them strategically over homes and cities. He placed them upside down over these places. He pushed the cups firmly into place. Then I saw a bucket of water being poured out over the table, from one end to the other. The miniature landscape was flooded, with the exception of the places where the Lord had placed the upside down cups. The cups protected the places from the rushing waters. It was my understanding that the Lord is saying that floods are going to come, but that He has made provision for protection for us. In addition to this, the following are notes from what I was understanding the Lord to be saying to me this early am. Perhaps they will be quickened in your spirit, or maybe they are just for me personally. Let the Holy Spirit be your witness. - Reading is good. (I've been reading Watchman Nee's book on Authority and Submission) - "The Seer" by Jim Goll was quickened. - Renew the quickened Words from the Lord that He has given in previous times. - Stand united in all things. - The flood is coming. - You are to fast. - Gird your loins. - Stay on God's side - Renew your commitments to the ministry that you were called to. - Stand firm and stand in faith - Rip the heavens - Strive not, but obey. The battle belongs to the Lord. Have faith, trust, stay the course and walk faithfully. The rain that falls and washes away the house of sin is mercy. That strongholds are destroyed is mercy That wrong continues no more is mercy Gird your loins. And then I saw: LDS I said, "Lord? LDS? What is going on with the Latter Day Saints that I should know about?" He said, "Last Day Saints." ---- stace |
