What is perfect in the Spiritual Realm (as it is in Heaven) is not always perfect in the natural (as it is on earth). It is like there is a gap between the two. "Raised Hands" is a type of declaration prayer that the Lord's will be done. It adds a voice to the desired will of God on earth as it is in Heaven. It is like a bridge between the spiritual realm and the natural realm. When I hold my hands up in prayer on a specific issue that I receive in prayer that is God's will, I imagine holding up and supporting a bridge between the two realms. These raised hands are lifted in faith because I have determined in my heart that I will never raise my hands on anything I do not receive in prayer and 'know that I know' it is the Lord's will.  |

Interesting post. So, are you saying that the "raised hands" is not only a prophetic act but also a spiritual act of bridging the gap between heaven and earth? Curious minds want to know.

Hi Stace, We must have posted at the same time because your continuation of your first post came before my reply to the first part of it! I stand in agreement with your declaration, lifting my heart and spirit in unity with God's will being done on earth as it is in heaven for we know no demon in hell with interfer with God's will. Father, let Your will be done and let Your children arise in this hour to be joint heirs with Christ, partaking of Your Kingdom living on earth as it is in heaven, for Your glory and honor let it be so in Jesus' name! |

Joan, Your explanation sounds very good, and is probably right on the mark. Are we raising our hands to support (bridge) His word and working in the circumstances, or are we raising our hands in praise at the circumstances that have already been overcome and yet to manifest? Or are we standing in agreement with Him because He has the better idea and it is good to agree with Him? Yes, yes, and yes. I believe it all plays a part of it. Wouldn't it be something to see ourselves in the place of authority to where we support the bridge between the spiritual realm and the earthly realm where the angels go to and fro bringing forth the will of God in our lives. I believe this to be true, and that it is our faith that produces the strength... hum... could get pretty deep here. (smiles) Agree with God, commission the angels, and bind the devil.  |
