One of our tenants, a family of five, are in danger of losing their home at the end of April if they do not come up with over 2000.00. Please pray for them. And now.. for the rest of the story. God always amazes me with His mercy. Listen to this: About six weeks ago, we had a very serious meeting with this family. They were behind and things were getting out of hand. We worked out a payment plan for them, but they were unable to keep up their end of the agreement because the wife lost her job (the husband was already unemployed). This type of thing has been going on for months, always behind. During the first few months, when management would approach them, they were the type that would act as if you were a bother to them. There have been at least three Saturdays when we have waited all day to hear from them after they promised that they would pay Saturday morning. They never showed up. It was a great concern for our boss that they were falling further and further behind. It was the last meeting with them that the boss decided that they would have to be evicted if they did not pay, get caught up, and stay caught up. They didn't. So, we had a staff meeting this am and the bosses (two of them at the meeting) decided that they either had to move or pay or be evicted. We set up a meeting with the family for today at 2pm. When they showed up, (on time this time) they came in ready for the worst. You could see it in their faces. You could see the grit that the boss was taking on so that he could do what had to be done. He was poised to give them three days to move out. They started the conversation stating that the husband starts a new job tomorrow. Our boss stopped in his tracks. He held his planned conversation and asked about the job the husband was due to start. When it was all over, they agreed to pay everything they owed by the end of the month or move out willingly. So, our boss gave them another chance. I really thank the Lord for our boss, (all three of them). I know that at any other place, this family would be out on the street. But, now, instead they have humbled themselves and changed their tones, and our bosses are being very merciful. So, please pray for this family. Stace
