HIDDEN PEARLS IN THOSE EYE GLANCES 2/12/09 www.thequickenedword.com I was writing a story and not feeling peace about sharing some specific personal details, so I asked the Lord about it. An hour later I had to stop my work and reboot my computer. So while I was waiting, I asked the Lord to please speak to me and I turned on my little Pocket PC. It landed on the following lines from Words to Ponder file: “Sometimes it is not necessary to share every little detail. Merely share the concepts and I will breathe upon them and bring them to life.” I was just thrilled with His answer to me! It was SO good to hear Him again in this way and just as I was telling Him that, my eye stopped and was staring at one key on my keyboard. I laughed when I finally “realized” what I had been starting at. I was staring at the Pause/ Break key on my computer keyboard. As I was chuckling about the wonderful gift to hear Him through eye glances, I opened my 2008 rhema book and my eye dropped to the following sentence: Seize the moment! When we take time to pause before Him in fellowship, we will find He is secretly waiting with His hidden pearls. The truest joy is discovering that He lives inside of us and is there for communion if we will only pause to listen. Col 1:27 NKJV To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you , the hope of glory. |
