What is faking an account? When you make a surname or last name, you may not necessarily want people using your surname that you have built up & leeching off your reputation. If this is the case and you are the surname "owner" you have the ability "fake", or deem the person void from using the specific surname. When an account is faked it is unable to roleplay (similar to getting 3 strikes/being banned). Surname Ownership In the majority of cases, the oldest account of a specific surname owns "rights" to the surname. However, this is not always the case. A moderator may rule that somebody with the most history (or rather the person who "made" the surname) owns rights to the surname when it appears right to do so. General Faking Rule If your account has less than 6 weeks of history it can be faked - however you must have a good reason to do so. Faking somebody for the sake of it is not encouraged. If however your account has over 6 weeks of "history" it is not able to be faked. Whether an account has "history" or not is down to the deciding moderator. |
