Okay, so my brother and I are hanging out in my room when he hears something weird coming from my closet. I was listening to music, so it took me a while to catch on. So I come in, and there are three huge bulges in the ceiling over my closet, and the floor is totally soaked. So I grab some towels and my brother tells my parents about it, so they go and try to fix it. That wasn't the part that was bad, though. The part that was terrible was that after I went back into my room, my mother broke her leg falling off a ladder. So my mom, my brother, and my dad all work together, carrying her out of the attic, down the stairs and into the car to go to the hospital. I asked if I should go with them, but they said no, so I'm going to have to stay here and wait until my parents come home to see how bad it is. On top of all that, I feel terrible now that if I had helped them fix the leak in my closet's ceiling this all might not have happened. |
