RULES (((important notes: anything offensive said to another user such as racism, swearing, etc, will result in the offender immediatley getting his/her's posting rights removed for a period of time and their rank will go down. this often includes, taking away posts, items, or such things and a warning))) Please keep swearing used in moderation, if needed in an RPG, do so, but anything said in an offensive way (as stated above) will result in extreme punishments. Please keep spamming to a minimum, first few (let's say three) times you will get a typed warning, but after that, you get real warnings. Spamming includes Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages, such as posting to say you understand (like a one worder: ok) just go do it and they will know you understood. Objects completely off-topic is spam, so is overuse of smileys. Please use proper grammer, it looks like you know what you are talking about and makes you seem more intelligent, most people consider inproper grammer annoying when overdone. Stay away from one-liners or worders as much as possible, one worders are considered spam, and one liners, they just never seem to fit the scene, they don't give much information but if needed, then use it. Otherwise, longer posts seem much more imprressive, though don't give us a whole big paragraph of fillers. No Godmoding, if this is seen, please report it, godmoding is when your character acts all godly or all powerful, it is unfair and is cheating. Also included as godmoding is attacking someone and not giving them a chance to respond. You cannot say it hit them immediatley, but you can let them know that you let it go their way. Theyw ill decide what happens, although you cannot go around dodging every attack. No Godmodding, this is different from godmoDing (extra D!) It includes when you control another user's character without their permission. Do not change the plot of Glasswind (Perpetual Islands) as it is a set plot and that is what the whole RPG is about. If you want to make your own plot RPG, go to Bunnyworld (Majestic Valleys) or something... Do not join an RPG group, such as a band of character's that seem to stick around together, unless you have permission, as you will often messup their lead, or plot (((note: plot must be about perpetual islands) Do not steal an item or items, I have a list of track to who has who and if I see you using or walking around with the image in your signature, then you will get warned, a couple more times violated and you're outta here! You cannot be in two places at once, let's say... you are on perpetuality, then all of a sudden you are on delirium but you are still RPing on perpetuality, you must state that your chaarcter has moved from place to place. Please keep romantic and sexual acts to a minimum, no profanity or anything innappropriate to children of ten or younger. We want everyone to be able to enjoy this site and not get in trouble by some people parents. No advertising your site on Glasswind, not in your signature, not anywhere. Unless you have permission from a staff member, you cannot and will result in a warning. Affiliations, I will make a topic about affiliations somewhere else. I will finish up these rules soon. |
