last one they may look a bit funky, caus ehtey're not detailed anough, especially the ones that aren't my chaarcters, please make a representation of your charatcer here: tektek.org Then post it, and I can make appropriate changes. For sapphire, and numa, caus enot all their chars are human. I'll just change them to the appropriate animal according to what they're wearing. (sapphire's two are birds, and z and k are aliens, I know how they look) These are rough sketches for everyone's sprites. |

Nice work. I'd like to make some changes though: Ezkuro is a dragon-man, so make him look like a dragon Melana was on PI longer than Ezkuro. Maybe you should switch their roles. Everyone should be about the same level of strength. Dark Lady and Mayuri should be bosses. Ezkuro and Melana's sprites are in the Characters topic. Serkane's sprite will be up in a second. hmm... good thoughts. I should make them bosses, then make them playable characters as like a bonus when you beat the game or soemthing. Sorry he doesn't look dragon, maybe if you made a sprite to show me. I could improve on it. (not including the already made one, like make one that shows em how he looks. augh.. you know what I'm talking about... right?) Huh? Melana and ezkuro are both supporting characters compared to Serkane. But If we make it so we get to play supporters, then Melana is earned before ezkuro. (they're all the same strength, except for mayri and dark lady, but I have the stars just to show like... Well... You know... I don't know, but I think you know hwat I'm talking about, where you have some characters earned before others, event hough they are the same strength? ) |

Maybe different abilities for different fighting styles. Albel could have a temorary cloaking ability. Cleoy could shoot stars. Serkane could fly and so on. That way if the skills were balanced, each character would have different strategies but the same basic amount of power. |

That's what I was thinking. They'd also have more abilities than they do here. Here's what I've got so far... Serkane: Fast and powerful with weak defense. Uses both moves that confuse opponents, boost stats, and deal damage. Ezkuro: Powerful with average defense and low speed. Uses fire moves Melana: High defense and above average speed. Weak power. Uses support moves Cleoy: Fairly balanced. Uses star moves Matthew: High speed with wind moves. |

Should we be able to play all chaarcters? Supporting (melana, ezkuro, mathew, ashley, not main characters) and main, or just main characters with supporting characters in the storyline mainly? It would eb easier on me to not have to make graphics and sprites for ALL the characters, their attacks, movements, etc. Flying would have to be limited though, like kirby's float, just for a while. Oh, and attributes, Light, Mecha (man-made), and Dark, and zoo (neutral) We are having abilities. I was thinking about six each? Don't know but... The stronger it is, the more sp? mp? it will use up. Or time. My interp: Cleoy: Long range attacks/ powerful but slow/ Dark Serkane: Average attacks/ can fly/ averagely fast/ Zoo Utada: Light attacks/ can fly a bit/ Mecha support/ Light Albel: Sword attacks, gun?/ average/ Mecha Zeik: Fire attacks, close range/ pretty strong, a bit slower/ Zoo If: Ashley: Fire attacks and long range/ weak but fast/ Zoo Mathew: Fast attacks and wind/ average/ Light Melana: Supporting attacks/ can fly/ averagely fast, heals/ Light Ezkuro: Fire Attacks/ powerful but slow/ Zoo Mayuri: Long range? Mecha attacks/ Slower, but VERY strong/ Mecha Kiez: Dark attacks. fire?/ Strong, but a bit slower/ Dark DarkLady: Dark long range/ Average strength but REALLY fast/ Dark Koga: Fast and uses swords and wind/ Average, fast/ Mecha |

Yeah, I kinda would rather do less characters, but better sprites. And it will make the game a WHOLE LOT bigger, and more complicated with mroe characters, and stuff like that. We'd have to think o fmore storyline, etc. |

Ohm...Zeik and Kiez are more speed based than power based, and no, Kiez has no fire abilities. Also, I think that characters that seem to be higher in certain things, or more "special" could be unlocked as you gain certain acheivements. Beating such and such with this person, that jazz. Just let me know if you want to meet up sometime to discuss the storyline. |

oops, anyways, yeah he described it. The "stronger" a character is is that character is more specialized in a particular stat. See, serkane and cleoy are both well rounded (cloey more tot he power, serkane mroe to the speed) |

In response to Raro's earlier statement: But then a character is weaker in other attributes. In other words the characters are not stronger but they are more specialized. If you truly wanted stronger characters you would have each early character have about 16 skill points divided among 4 stats and then higher rank characters would have 20 skill points instead. My examples are just a rough outline of the stats and what they effect. My idea for the stats system:
