Excellent list. I agree on most. I probably would have picked a different cue from Dragon, but there are like 10 that are amazing. Flight Home from Legend of the Guardians is real good too. The first and last tracks of Prince of Persia deserve some recognition as well. Fate has Smiled Upon Us from Robin Hood. Flynn Lives from TRON: Legacy. And anticipated upcoming... I would add Gregson-Williams' Cowboys and Aliens. I can't think of anything else right now. |

I started listing many cues from Dragon before it just became too hard. Test Drive is my other top choice from the score though. I can't remember a thing from Legends of the Guardians. Yes, HGW did a nice job with Prince of Persia, although you're more the expert on that score. Ah, I remember listening to Robin Hood and there was a great track which I didn't care enough to look up. I completely forgot Tron: Legacy. I would put it under the NOT THAT BAD category. Who knew I was a Daft Punk fan? I didn't know HGW was doing Cowboys and Aliens. The new Jane Eyre adaptation is Marianelli--could be nice. Thor is Doyle, could be interesting...(Cue Aragon). It should be noted that Carter Burwell is returning to the Twilight Saga. Although the movies are basically terrible, they've had a few good score moments. |
