Why do so many of you suck? It seems like 75 percent of the games I play feature atrocious sound mixing. Why is dialog consistently buried under overblown sound effects? Why do volume levels vary wildly between gameplay and cutscenes? I've been playing through Killzone 3, and not only does it feature all of the above, but the score, which is actually pretty good, is so soft that you can barely even tell its there. I'm tired of this incompetence. I pay $20 for a blu-ray, or nothing for a TV show, and they sound 100 times better than most of the games I pay $60 for. |

Because most of gaming society plays Halo on mute while they listen to Dave Matthews. |

I've often complained about the mixing of footsteps in games. Way too loud. Now I'm going to sit on the porch and yell at the children. |
