Air Foamposite Max was a victim of unfortunate timing

Nike Air Max Thea Womens Sportswear is set to introduce a new take on the classic OG ‘Sport Red' Air Max 1 whereby the ladies edition is set atop a pink midsole, but on the pair pictured above, it's the element immediately above that famous Air bubble container that sets the feminine agenda. This new Nike WMNS Air Max 1 in Vachetta Tan and Clear Grey features a subdued organic palette with just a slight push toward blue, the kind of colorway that made CNCPTS' ‘Kennedy' New Balance 999 such a hit (and remember, a Kennedy look-alike won our Air Max 1 iD design contest last summer). But take a close look at the soft blue mudguard and you realize it's embellished with a shimmering crackle texture that's probably going to be a tough sell even for those who find hidden gems by 1.5-ing up. These should arrive in stores come February, so in the meantime have a closer look and pre-order a pair today.

2005's ‘Wheat' Total Nike Air Max Thea Black was a victim of unfortunate timing, having arrived seven years after the model had a factory-fresh wow factor and about four before the Foam craze as we currently know it really caught hold. Pictured above is a model that carries the torch of full-length Max Air paired with an organic Foam on the uppers, and with the addition of Fuse ventilation, this Team Brown and Total Orange take on the Nike Air Max Hyperposite is the closest thing we've seen since those Timbo-colored Tim Duncans. The rich coppery effect of this simple yet effective earthy color combo has already shown up in the young NBA season and we'll let you know when they're set to arrive at US Nike Basketball retailers.

Nike Air Max Thea Pink is getting a bit of an unofficial revisiting in 2013 as news of the Silver Bullet 97s are confirmed for a release this January. For those not familiar, Nike embarked on a retrospective of its most iconic Air Max models as part of a celebratory gesture for the Air Max 360; since then, the Silver Bullet Air Max 97s were released a few more times, and this January '13 release means that Nike intends for these original Air Maxes (like the Neon 95) to be on everyone's feet. If you already have a pair, you can afford to pass on this release, but for those lacking, keep your eye out for these this coming January.
