Drogba A Doubt For Blackburn Tie Chelsea are likely to be without last season’s top scorer Didier Drogba for the visit of Blackburn Rovers on Saturday. Chelsea will be looking to get their season back on track this weekend with a win against consistent performers Blackburn Rovers. The Blues were beaten 2-0 by Aston Villa in the last round of Premiership games and currently sit level on points with Everton, Arsenal and Liverpool at the top of the table, but have played one more game than the latter pair. If Chelsea are to emerge victorious then they are going to have to do it without the talismanic Didier Drogba, who is likely to be missing after sustaining a knock in the Villa game, missing an Ivory Coast international as a result. "I'm not really fit," he said earlier this week, arriving late for a charity function. "I was late because I had to stay to have some treatment and we had a meeting." |

José Mourinho has revealed that Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba will both be absent for the Blackburn game tomorrow due to injury. Lampard was injured after training prior to the Aston Villa match, while Drogba limped off at the end of that game. Mourinho confirmed the pair's absence, saying: 'They don't play. I hope they play next week.' He did though confirm that Andriy Shevchenko returns to the squad, following an impressive international period for the forward, culminating in a goal for his Ukraine side against world champions Italy. Mourinho said that Sheva 'will have minutes'. |

I watched it mate  and in truth it was a hard fought draw, the disallowed goal looked dodgy but no doubt things will even them selves out over the season, not your best side and as i predicted i think you did miss Lamps, what a great start we have made..Arsenal H Chelsea A,Everton A,Boro A Man City H all these clubs are at the top and we have allready played them and 3 away games so things are looking good,, :blue scarf: |

i cant see us winning the league. or the CL tbh but FA cup is a good bet for us..... I cant see Roman going.... He is loaded and can do and probably has done everything he has wanted to. He has joined in with having the roller coaster of emotions that comes with being a football fan.. Im sure its a buzz he appreciates. You cant by emotions. |
