Avram Grant has named his first Chelsea team and it will line-up in a 4-3-3 formation.

Joe Cole and Florent Malouda will flank Andriy Shevchenko in attack and there are returns in defence for Paulo Ferreira and Tal Ben-Haim.

John Mikel Obi makes his 50th appearance for the Blues.

Manchester United will be spearheaded by Carlos Tevez who is playing in front of a line consisting of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney.

Chelsea will line-up in a 4-3-3 formation as follows:

1 Petr Cech

10 Joe Cole
7 Andriy Shevchenko
15 Florent Malouda

Substitutes: 23 Carlo Cudicini, 33 Alex, 24 Shaun Wright-Phillips, 21 Salomon Kalou, 14 Claudio Pizarro.

Well, it looks like I'm the first Blues fan to post something about the match. We were crap: poor team selection, no drive and even considering the possibility that Tevez was offside for the first goal and no way was that a penalty for Saha to score, we did not have the desire.

Only when Shevchenko was taken off did we improve: too little and too late.

Welcome to the real world Messrs. Abramovich and Grant

I started following our team when Tommy Docherty was manager and I'd be a lot happier with him in charge again.
