PREMIER LEAGUE & EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS 07/08

Now that the circus has rolled out of town it's finally time to get back to some proper football.
Next game for United is Bolton away.
I've heard that Anelka is back for Bolton but, even though we're missing Rooney, I don't see this ending any way other than a United win.

Rio will be fit for the game which means we'll have our usual back four, Hargreaves and Anderson will probably play in the middle & I'm hoping that Nani and Ronaldo will be on the wings.
Saha and Tevez up front.

My prediction: Bolton 0-3 United

After watching England play last night I'm in a pretty depressed and pessimistic mood so I won't predict a score.

I just hope United cheer me up by doing what they do best - winning football matches.

COME ON UNITED!

Yes I felt the same about the England match ,absolutely fuckin disgusting .
They should all retire from International football ,just a bunch of gutless wonders IMO , Euro with no English , Irish, Scotish or Welch reprosentation .
Fuck em all I say .
Come on United show em all how to play , 3 -1 for us

Poor performance, we always claim that we don't rely on R&R, but lets face it, without them we look much worse

That team should have beat Bolton today easily :humph:

Ronaldo should have at least been on the bench he couldnt have been that tired.
If we are winning leave him on the bench but if we need him (like today) Bring him on

A poor performance but we should have taken something from the game.

I still can't believe Tevez missed.

We need to bounce back quickly because December will be a crucial month in the title race. We play Liverpool, Arsenal meet Chelsea and points are usually dropped during the busy Christmas schedule.

From manutd.com...

Sir Alex had no choice but to leave out Cristiano Ronaldo and Nemanja Vidic for the Reds' trip to Bolton on Saturday.

The pair now face a race against time to be fit for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Sporting Lisbon.

Fans were puzzled Portuguese winger Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen at the Reebok Stadium, whle Nemanja Vidic also missed the match through injury.

“Ronaldo had a little strain on the inside of his thigh and Nemanja [Vidic] missed Serbia's game on Wednesday while on international duty,” United boss Sir Alex Ferguson told MUTV. “We’ll see what they are like for Tuesday but they were not fit for Saturday.”

Let's hope they both recover quickly.
