the dropped points from the draws make it all the more anoying as we would have been closer to the gunners. We are still not converting all of our chances or we could have been in double figures, another great display. |

I'm still getting used to us scoring as many as we are. After years of dealing with flop strikers Torres is an absolute top drawer f*cking awesome revelation. 21 goals in our last five games, 9 in our last three games. Just as important: only one goal conceded. Titles are won at both ends of the pitch. Hobbs had a pretty good game apparently. |

bit disappointed with the coverage in some of the rags, blink and you'll miss it. this is the team the beat utd and have been playing well, we tanked them and are doing well but nothing positive from any of the papers, just the usual hicks, benitez guff. mind you shouldn't worry as long as we are winning |

Utd and Arsenal are the darlings of the media, best we just get used to that I think. Arsenal have 9 in their last 5 games, we have 21, and we're above Man Utd, but that's irrelevant apparently. We'll just go about our business and quietly tot up the points... bring on the mancs. |

good morning tnk . How the devil are you ? So how are all the doom merchants from a couple off weeks ago ? When people werent allowed to say we were still unbeaten ? Yet here we are in december still unbeaten and have got over the little sticky patch we had . The players who were off form a touch are getting back to form . Players returning from injury playing their part and we still got a couple more big players to come back and still got a game in hand over chelsea . |

I don't think people were ever 'not allowed to say we're unbeaten' - it just wasn't an adequate response and failed to address the fact that we were playing absolutely toilet. It was more a way of glossing over that fact and hoping for the best... But hey, things are good again, other teams dropped points which allowed us to get away with doing the same, so bring on Reading and the mancs... |

agree mate . The thing i was trying to impress mate was yes we were not playing very well but we were still picking up points and not getting beat . So much different compared to the last couple off seasons when we were playing poo and loosing and thru it all lately we stayed in touch and said we would start winning again when players got back on form and it happened . |

Well like I said a few weeks ago, if that's the worst our in-season slump gets I'll be more than happy. :ale: It was still a bugger to go through though. :blush2: |

this time last year we were miles away , a couple of weeks ago we werent playing very well due to top players off form and missing a few big players as well . as i have been saying along , thru a sticky patch we were still unbeaten and picking up points so staying well in the hunt as opposed to previous years , said when players are back on form w would start winning again and lo and behold we have ,ry team has a little bad patch and hopefully that was ours for the season . the crap being thrown around about 4-6 weeks ago about us being shite and season over etc was so far over the top it was unreal , people going on about how wonderful arsenal were yet we are only a couple of points behind them so i still dont now what all the fuss was a couple of months ago , compare this season to the last couple and you can easily see how well we have progressed and arre doing . p.s woodie your more than happy to convey that message elsehwre  |
