Already getting goosebumps thinking about this game. We are better than the scouse all over the pitch and should easily beat them. The only reason they might get a result is because they play with an extra passion when United are in town. I'm going for a 1-0 win to United. |

It's always a big match against the Scousers no matter what is at stake in terms of points/progression. The two league matches against them are always the first two I look for. Victory at Anfield would put a huge dent in their Premiership title ambitions and would make it a very merry Christmas. I don't care if we sneak a winner off Patrice Evra's backside or Ronaldo dribbles around their entire defence twice before belting one in from 30 yards. I just want us to win!!! |

Was end-to-end basically, you had more chances/shots, but you had a few long range efforts whereas we didn't, possession will have been about equal I would have thought. Torres was poor imo, but then so was Ronaldo. Torres seems cocky, squaring up to Hargreaves and Rio when there wasn't any need. We caught you by surprise for the goal, corner to the edge of the area and a Rooney shot and Tevez instinctively sticking it in the net, we should have had 2 from a really good move but Rooney missed. Couple cleared off our line, VDS missed a couple of catches when he crashed into Vidic but other than that was steady. Anderson (against a big team again), Rio and Evra had excellent games for us, while Babel looked the most dangerous for you when he came on. |
