One player won it for you yesterday - Rio . impressed me , normally he is a flash harry when defending but yesterday he did it simple and was very impressive .

PREMIER LEAGUE & EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS 07/08

Fergie does it again. The man is a genius.
I was watching that game with my heart in my mouth on Sunday - especially in the second half.
We came through it though with flying colours. Three points in the bag and another dent in Liverpool's title charge.

As a side note; does anyone know if Nani is injured or not as he wasn't on the bench yesterday.

I don't think Nani was injured - I just think Fergie thought we'd be more likely to need defensive substitutions to hold onto a lead with the tactics he employed.

A terrific result...but we should be used to getting 3 points at Anfield by now! I was nervous before the game and VDS didn't help my nerves either!!! The timing of the goal was crucial even though Liverpool came out fighting at the start of the 2nd half they never really created any clear chances.

Probably like RD said with the defensive substitutions, however I don't think he's been on the bench all that much just lately, and to be fair he was starting to slip aside from a few flashes of quality, I was thinking fatigue from being thrust into a new culture and playing such a big part so early on in his Utd career. He'll get plenty of games in the next couple of weeks anyway "thumb"

El Nino - Rio plays like that most of the time these days, people just tend to judge him on his reputation, unfair if you ask me.
