Iam happy enough to support Utd thanks.

Its the same at Utd if Glazer thinks Fergie cant take the club forward he will be let go. Come to think of it its the same at all clubs.
Would you not agree?

I think Rafa will stay, I think the owners know Rafa will stay, I think the only people who don't are ill-informed idiots.

So, if you win fuck all, do you really believe that Rafa will get more spending money to build a stronger team in the Summer? Sorry mate, I think if he doesn't bring at least one big trophy in he's fucked IMO. Ill informed idiot, no, realist, yes

Fair enough, whatever you say... :ale:

I would like to think the owners weren't bullshitting when they bought the club.

Call me naive, they're on record though.

just trying to get a reasonable gauge - Managers have been sacked for less fella. Top 4 Managers live by a bigger sword, not scrapping for an odd £1m here and there - If your season goes tit's up and Rafa gets another bash then great, but I can't see it, not wumming just personal opinion. Not because of tabloid speculation, purely from a business view point :ale:

The records can be changed "for the best of the club" they could say.

Well, as little as it means to you, we're not Spurs or Newcastle. Our manager's office doesn't have a revolving door.

If ever you needed a blueprint for what sustained success looks like, it's our traditions and values, paired with putting your faith in a man who knows his stuff (a la Wenger).

If we put our long-term future in the hands of Rafa I'd be happy. He's not beyond reproach, but I don't believe there's a manager I'd want instead.

He was at the match today

He did a interview the other day

Asked if he would like to see Liverpool win a title or two, just for old times' sake, Ferguson replied: "You must be f***ing joking! Do you think I'm a sadist? How does relegation sound?"
