Negative City never tried to win the game , typical sven tactics. I just hope City begin to slide down the table based on that spoiling performance. |

What else did we expect them to do? They knew full well they couldn't live with us if they tried to play. We can try and blame City as much as we want, but the facts are we had enough chances to win. We were utterly inept in front of goal - just about everyone passed to the wrong man at the crucial moment and Torres seemed off his game. Yet again, we rang the changes too late - Babel should have been on after 60 mins and Alonso should have been brought on. 2 points dropped. |

I thought Man City looked pretty good, done a job and as Andy Gray said, although they aren't top 4 material yet they proved a point. For sure you lot gave far more and I believed when the 1st goal came it would be a right old game, but that never happened. Based on the game, I ain't looking forward to our next meeting as they more than capable of winning :chin: |

To be fair, it could be argued that a team playing someone as inept as Kuyt is using spoiling tactics |

I say dear JP!! Quite right my good man. Again, Mr Quasimodo offered more when he was not on the ball. Granted he works hard but is that enough? For if it were, why not buy that 'flair' player that is Mr Savage. He too can run a lot and would probably have a similar scoring ratio to Dirk if played up front. Get rid. One was swearing like a sailor today. Why he played the full 90 with someone of the ability of Alonso on the bench is quite beyond me. His guile would have been the perfect tonic today methinks. Anyway, enough seriousness - my cousin used to be a necrophiliac - until some rotten twat split on him.............. |

AS far as I'm concerned looking at that game we were robbed of 2 points but basically its our own fault. We had chances, played some good football, best I've seen us play in the league for a while, but we could take those chances. City defended well but really offered nothing in attack. Parking the bus comes to mind but really despite that we did have the opportunities to win. The performance in my eyes was very good but the end product was severly lacking, we could have won it 2 or 3-0 easily on another day! |
