I think he'll go for about £9-12m. I can't see us getting any more than that, but I'm happy for him to go - he's not going to get much of a look in unless his passing improves drastically and I just don't see that happening after this amount of time. |

Looks like he'll initially be going on loan to Juve before signing permanently in the summer... Liverpool's Mohamed Sissoko has revealed that he is "very close" to joining Serie A giants Juventus. Claudio Ranieri has been chasing the player since the transfer window opened, and despite reports that Valencia are keen to take the Mali international back to the Mestalla, a move to Italy is looking more likely. Sissoko has admitted that he would favour a move to Turin, a move which would give him the opportunity to work with Ranieri once more after playing under the Italian for one season whilst in Spain. With Sissoko due to represent his country at the African Cup of Nations later this month, he is expected to make a loan move at first with Juve being giving the option of making the deal permanent at a later date. "I'm still a Liverpool player," the midfielder told Radio Montecarlo. "But I expect a big announcement in the next few days. "My agent, Juve and Liverpool are working on my departure. "Everyone is asking me whether I have already signed. I haven't yet but my move to Juventus is very close. "I'm expecting the good news any moment now, but I'm enthusiastic about beginning a new adventure in Italy with the Bianconeri." |

I would too, but I suspect he'll do well in Italy - there's less instant pressure on players like Momo when they win the ball in midfield there, so he'll be less rushed to make a quick pass, which I think is why he suffers in the PL. |

If we send him on loan Juve will try and pull a Marseille on us and get him at a knockdown price. And once they've seen him play we'll have a hard job arguing against them. :blush2: |

Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has revealed he is close to securing a move to Italian giants Juventus. The Malian has fallen out of favour at Anfield and his reported £10m departure could enable the Reds to secure the permanent signing of Javier Mascherano. "I'm still at Liverpool but I expect a big announcement in the next few days," Sissoko told Radio Montecarlo. "My agent, Juve and Liverpool are working on my departure and my move to Turin is very close." It is thought Sissoko may initially leave the club on a loan deal, with Juve being given the option to buy him at the end of the season. But the 22-year-old admits he is keen to leave Anfield before the end of the month after starting just six league matches this season. "I'm expecting good news any moment now, but I'm enthusiastic about beginning a new adventure in Italy with the Bianconeri," he said. Mascherano's 18-month loan spell at Liverpool is due to end in the summer, but manager Rafael Benitez is confident of negotiating a permanent deal with Media Sports Investments, the consortium which "owns" Mascherano. |

Hang em first. Question em later.

Seen reports that we might get £10m for him. Considering his recent performances for us I think we should reluctantly accept. We don't want to seem too eager to sell, they might suspect something at that price. |
