they were saying on setanta that in almost 20 hours play Kuyt has scored 1 goal yes 1 goal in open play... where are all the Kuyt lovers? are they having a Kuyt love-in? because at least cisse had the pace to catch up with his first touch... |

yep sure they are all playing bad but it doesn't detract from the fact Kuyt? his main job? his main position? in case you forgot.... goals and striker not running all over the pitch like some demented penis... and yes i shall say gerrard is gash tonight. |

but thats my point we bought him to be getting on the end of those types of balls not putting them in there... we seriously need some wingers... ones that actually stay out on the wing to give players like Kuyt the chance to show the unbelievers (me) that he can do the business in the box... he's a great workhorse i'm not gonna knock him on that score but natural born goal-scorer? i'm not too sure |

with benny constantly cutting inside someone like kuyt has to provide the width to get those balls in , its where we need pennant back to do that job . kuyt is a second striker at the moment , he needs a goal to get his confidence back up cause it is totally shot , hope he doesnt read the forums cause them it would be even worse , gone our the days when pool players were backed thru thick and thin to help them thru dry spells and lose of confidence. |

I say dear Nino!! Kindly refrain from your Dutch loving right now. Kuyt is a donkey of Biblicass (did you see what I did there?) proportions. He may run around a lot, for which Mike Reid would be proud, but he is plop. Consider Robbie Savage. Works hard. Would you play him up front? No. Why? Shares the striking guile of a menstruating quim - and Dirk. |

You don't always get a lots of clear chances, so when they come you have to stick them away, it's the difference between the game being on the line and us drawing, or the game being out of sight and us winning. |

and helped create one and lost count the amoutn of poor touches torres did when he was one on one with a defender . but no doubt kuyt will be the scapegoat for the draw. |

That's complete and utter bullshit, I cheer our players on at Anfield regardless. What I don't do is pretend they're up to it if they're not. That's more damaging than anything said on an internet forum. |

The difference it you know that there's a good chance Torres will score one. Did you watch him against Boro? Shite he was. Still pulled a screamer out of the bag though. Kuyt could play for the rest of his life and not score a goal like that. |

i bet your moaning just as much as the next man that we're dropping points and yet in the same breath your saying that we should carry on playing someone who's going through a "bad patch" and just needs a goal but players like that don't win matches... and that's what the game is all about, winning. i would be happy to play him if it was a freindly so he could get his "confidence" back up but it's not, it's a professional competitive game... that relies on the end result... he does a good job of running around and practically being an attacking midfielder, but hes supposed to be a striker and as such should be in the box getting on the end of the types of balls he plays, but is it just a case of when hes playing the team have got reliant on him doing that job as he has done it for so long |
