Hicks; a house of cards?

I am now of the opinion that Hicks is a charlatan whose business empire is built almost entirely of loans, probably with one asset guaranteed against another and vice-versa.
He's probably cooking his books to keep his head above water and it wont surprise me at all if his little house of cards collapses inside the next 18 months and takes us with it.

No wonder he's overpricing us for a sale - he's desperate for the money to prop up the rest of his dealings. This little interview is a message to DIC that he's prepared to sit tight for as long as it takes for them to come up with an acceptable offer.

Of course this is all wild and completely unsubstantiated speculation on my part, so feel free to ignore. But I understand he recently bought Corinthians and made the same outlandish promises that have yet to be kept.

I reckon he's borrowing money to fund purchases in the hopes he can sell them at a profit he can use to prop up his dealings. But if nobody buys.... :stress:
