anelka for 15 mil is good business , better than both kuyt and crouch ( who was feckign toliet yesterday ) not sure about aimar - great little player but a bit late in his career now - 29 is he . would provide a little creativity |

if he was cheap ie around 2 mil it would be woth it but anything over that prefer to spend it on a wide attacker . |

yeah mascher certainly gets stuck in , xabi was abit better before his injury - a mix of the two would be very nice indeed ( ie another gerrard ) but they both got their worth to the club - xabi at home and away to the teams defending deep and mascher against the big guys to try and break up the play . |

but we'd have more money if we didnt blow it on so so players who dont even make their mark so much as to get a starting place each week never mind the players rafa needs to spy on the scouts, seems they're having fecking great european tour :ale: at the clubs expense |

yeah but look how well he has done in the prem since - scored bundles for man city and bolton so can easily see him scoring for chelsea. there arent many strikers better for 15 mil . cheaper than bent ffs |

I'm not too bothered about Aimar tbh, except that we still have Alonso, Masch, Gerrard and Lucas. Seeing that Xabi hasn't really lived up to expectations I wouldn't mind seeing him out the door to fund a striker. |

what expectations ? if we let xabi go what happens when masher or gerrard get injured ? lucas nowhere near that standard yet ? we dont want to loose quakity we need to keep it . the four we got now are spot on , a good mix of cm. xabi does a cracking job for us , it has changed a bit since he first arrived due to playing deeper , but there is no better pass of the ball than xabi . half of what he does goes un noticed just like didi did . think wojld be crazy to let him go . |

Finally somebody else who didn't think Anelka did enough for us to sign him... Cut through the nostalgia of what might have been and look at what happened. He was average for us. |

but since then ? remember he only had half a season after hardly playing for much before hand - went to citeh and scored goals and did every season and again when he went to bolton . he will score goals for you end of . |
