David Feherty's Irish Soda Bread

Ingredients

In a bowl, mix:

2 cups flour
2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 ½ cups buttermilk

Directions

Beat all ingredients together, until you get a nice firm, powdery dough. Cut the dough into quarter-sized circles, and then cook over high heat (350 degrees Fahrenheit) in a dry griddle, instead of baking it in the oven. Cook each side for about 5 minutes. Remove them from the heat and filet them in half. You can toast them to a perfect crisp, and then add butter. Slainte!
