Sage is a class withou any AoE, but he can "manipulate" with bolts.

Builds
1. Autospeller
STR: 30-50
AGI: 80-99
VIT: 50-80
INT: 80-99
DEX: 40-60
LUK: 10-30

If you have Soul Link, you can lower your STR and DEX and higher AGI, INT, VIT

Equip
Encyclopedia (If semi-CRIT build)
Dagger of Counter (If CRIT build)
Ledger of Death (If non-CRIT build)

Pocket Watch + Memory Book + Monocle

2. Caster
STR: 1
AGI: 1
VIT: 80
INT: 90
DEX: 90
LUK: the rest

Equip
Survivor's rod + Survivor's Manetau
Eden Group Eq

Leveling spots

Caster:
50-75 Orc Dungeon 1 (Kill Orc)
50-X Payon Dungeon 4 (Kill Sohee, do Eden Quests, DO NOT go here without Orleans glove or Phen card)
71-85 Kill Grand Peco, Goat
85-95 Rachel->Left (Kill Roween)
95-99 Kill Magmaring

Autospeller:
49-70 Payon Cave 4 (Kill Sohee, do Eden Quest 56-70)
71-85 Clock Tower 2F (Kill Clock, Punk, Rideword, do Eden Quest 71-85)

Hope it will help :)

Don't like it? Deal.
I would have suspected you'd want Agi on a caster for a multitude of reasons.

First and foremost: Cast-time aftermath. You may be able to instant cast, but if I recall correctly you'd still be restricted as to how quickly you're actually able to follow up another spell based on the "attack cooldown" that aspd controls. For example, I've noticed how quickly I can cast even the no cooldown abilities like lightning blades of ice is indeed effected by my ASPD.

Secondly: As a caster class, they lack the serious hp pool of the more melee oriented characters. Now of course that being said, I believe Sages have the highest caster hp maximum given their versatility, however that isn't exactly the point here. The topic I bring up is survivability through evasion, of course you must hit a certain number before flee takes effect against a monster's attacks, however one should never underestimate say something as low as a 20% chance to get hit due to a moderate flee score. Mathematically speaking that's a natural 20% damage reduction in and of itself.

Thirdly: Why is it that the caster has a static 80 vitality while the auto-caster, which is a melee combatant has potentially 30 less vitality, would it not be more effective to rotate those figures? A Caster remains at a distance while casting, whereas the auto-caster has no alternative than to get in close and be wailed upon...

Also out of curiosity, you mention the gear to be the Eden group equipment, however I can't find anything about those equipments being slotted. I'd imagine that the lack of slots might reduce the usefulness of the gear... Of course I speak more end game, due to how easily you can get the Eden group equipment and it's lack of weight. That said, even as a caster, a str of one makes it nearly impossible to carry anything such as ygg seeds or SP potions, after you calculate in gear weight, and the dictionary weapons can be quite hefty in and of themselves...

A decent guide, I just see a few things that I personally find a bit questionable.
