yo guys i was readin the performance car magazine today and i saw a promotion on a trd oil filter for $41 it looks pretty good so i wana get it but then when i got home i tried lookin for the oil filter under my hood and i couldn't find it. can anyone tell me where it is?? and also wat do oil filters do? do they enhance performace in anyway??? thx tezz |

the oil filter is easy to change on the altezza as i just found out last mth get under the car at teh front and if u havent got the undertray look up and it should be there by the sump y pay $41 for just a filter ? nothin wrong with a repco one |

I believe in brand too. Nike shoes make you jump higher. Drinking Coke makes you more popular. TRD stickers are good for 3-5 hp each. |

you are probably just paying for the name but when in doubt the stock Toyota oil filter is always best. I have been using the Celica oil filter for some time...its a bit larger, more surface area is good. At the moment i have a TRD one as i was worried about clearance issues with the mocal sandwich plate but there is plenty of room. Might see if i can grab a TRD filter for the Celica from Matt. |
