With the increasing coolness of writing text-typing everywhere, we are starting to get people writing in shorthand on the site.

Don't bother- it annoys me, (I'm old!) it leads to misunderstandings and it definately lowers the tone of the forums. If your English grammar and spelling is so lacking you should be on Bebo!

This is because I have recently disabled the "registration" menu for the board due to amount of spammers wasting their life with posts about their porn pages. I get over a dozen bots each day, and I don't have the time to sift through them. Don't bother if your email is from BonBon.net, GameBox, GameBox.net, phreaker.net...

We have been running for over 7 years with over 6000 members and now the 'net has become so degraded it has come to this. My apologies.

I would encourage you to become a paid-up VIP member, as the $30 is used to pay for the server space here and otherwise further the club, both in Australia & New Zealand. The details are under the 'how to join' forum. VIP's get as range of discounts for servicing, parts and after-market goodies, all listed in the VIP section and invisible to ordinary members...
