I will only have video of those in the same group as me (Yellow Lexus) or during the last clover event.

Charlie, if you like, you can send me your video and I can combine them together.

If anyone else has photos, I can include them into the DVD also.

ATTENTION - EVERYONE WHO TOOK IMAGES AND VIDEO SHOULD CONTACT ME DIRECTLY, ASAP!!!

Almost everyone has provided me with an address, so all images and video will be compiled and sent to you on DVD. If you haven't given me your address, send me an email or PM so you can receive your DVD.

Allan, i also have your certificate which i will mail to you as well. Sadly, i didn't get any pics of the MX5 on the skid pan, i sure hope someone else did because you put on an awesome show, as per usual for an MX5 driver! Represent!

Anyhow - on with the show:

Wow - Another AWESOME day with the Luff Crew!!!!

As some will know, this day was particularly enjoyable for yours truly as i picked up Thunderbird2 from repairs only yesterday afternoon. We had a great time at Luff, and i'm really happy with how the car performed, the coilovers, clutch and flywheel made the day SOOOOOO much more enjoyable!

Heh heh - here we see Brian coming in for a landing...

While Norma and Steve look on...

He then preceded to overcook his exit from the skid pan, here Ian Dyke observes his shenanigans in the background :D. Brian's "Inner Hoon" really showed itself on the day!

Great day guys.. definately enjoyed it.. nice meeting all of you..

anyways.. on with the damage..

looks like I might have stuffed my thrust bearing or the drive shaft bearing.. either way gonna have to get the gearbox dropped out and replace them  if that isn't the issue than it could mean the gearbox needs reconditioning..

however that is worst possible scenario..

hopefully it'll be sweet.. cheers for an awesome day..

I believe someone caught a video of the just how this happened. Multiple loops of the skid pan with the Instructor behind the wheel probably just killed of the bearing when it was already somewhat worn out. Sure looked and sounded good though!

LoL.. yeah.. ^^ thats probably right.. i'm not really that annoyed at anyone.. and I can't really blame anyone else.. these things happen and chances are it was probably already on it's way out..

spinning out and not putting the clutch in puts a fair bit of a shock through the drivetrain..

from what i've read looks towards the drive bearing.. so hopefully won't be too bad..

so what's diferent then? Always the first to put up his little hand in everything, the fabricate something to pull out, and do a "I hate you" dramatic scene to end the show... there are a lot of excuses there.

lol there was a lot of sideways action on the day , and i got to put on a bit of a show for the guys lol , i swear i wasn't trying to go sideways at the first time round the wet circuit but it didnt take much encouragement for me to go all out drift style lol , was a great day and i got to try out a na supra for an idea what it was like , will have to do the next level now :).

nice pics of the day shame my car looks like crap , but at least it goes hard .

good to hear that the VW made it back with out dieing , hope it doesn't cost to much to get it repaired (european ouch factor , like being mugged by a german)
