To my knowledge yes... keep in mind I've driven the 1/4 many a times but never circuit raced..... so don't hold me to it.. ANDRA and CAMS may have different ideas <_<

LOL just told ya dude.. go to rocket industries.. they have plenty..

Full face I have and I like it... I've just removed the clear visor so I can breathe....

I'm sure most reputable brands will do

Simpson
RCI
Shoei
Snell
etc etc

I have a bike helmet, as long as it is approved for the road it is fine.

Narada has told me that open face are ok for Circuit Club days also, again, they must have that approval sticker on them.

Ah - here's all the info you need: must be AS or SNELL approved:

Let me know how you go locating a transponder, Reggie!

It is around $350 second hand to $550 brand new.
There is a AMB TranX160 in europe but we need to hit the receiver loop at less than 160 Km/h and the transponder will need to around 1 feet off the ground.

AMB TranX260 allows up to 300Km/H but it cost $550.

But to be in the safe side, we are better off asking Wakefield or CircuitClub what type of transponder they use and if they now where we can get cheap ones.

hi guys,

Interested in going to this.

This will be my first time circuit racing and I've heard that you can get rock chipping on the panels.

How bad is it? Any way to alleviate the problem?

I'm not going to go for any race records since my car is quite stock, just want to get my car sideways abit (if possible) and have some fun :)

Cheers!

I guess the drive down there alone can give you stone chips, I have battle scars just from normal use and from the regular hailstorms. Unless you buy a car bra. Come anyway, I'm a newbie as well.

I'm going to sit out of this one... still have some work to do!

Corner Scale car & wheel alaign... (maybe spring rates will need to change as my front end is getting some "washing" that may be cos of the tyres though!)
New tyres - These Pirelli's are junk!
Bride Zeta 3 bucket - Buy one
Might upgrade rear roll bar?
