If anyone is wondering why I've got mismatched wheels later on... and my name isn't Charlie ;) it's because of this

Wakefield resurfacing is completed! Details up on Circuit Club now:
http://www.circuitclub.com.au/

Looks like consistant drivers can expect to be around a second quicker! I have to say, i'll miss the great/rough characteristics of Wakefield (it was more like a road than a circuit in parts) but it will be awesome to get there and learn the new circuit.

dont think i'll be attending any cc events this year.... i didnt even get 20 laps last time at wakefield... quiet disappointed honestly. i'd be attending other events and lots of open days if people are interested in heading down with me.

Haha, don't be weaksauce, Trev! IIRC, you elected NOT to go out during the last session! Might i also add that when you take the time to ride passenger with other people in other sessions, it adds up to well more than 20 laps!

With Johnny Boston AND Jacky both offering their services for track tuition, it is well worth the asking price.

The have limited the cars to 55 for wakefield after the incident on 07 Labour Day (Wu's complain). 4 Groups - A to D and D being the beginners or limited experience or very underpowered cars (like mine)

It is up to you to drive, watch or ride shotgun - its all depends on "The Itch" ie the itch to drive fast without some one breaking your balls for speeding.

If you do decide to drive or ride shotgun bring the following:
Pair of 16" or Lightweight wheels on the rear with overinflated tyres (for dori dori)
wear long sleeve top
wear long pants (trackies are fine)
wear shoes
need an AS or Snell Approved Helmet (Motorbike helmet or rent one there)
Club fee of $20 to ride shotgun (bring on the day )
Club fee of $180 to drive your car into the track (must be booked asap)

Also, there is change on the fees at Wakefield - they waived the Wakefield License ($20/day or $50/year) for Clubs who bring their own Ambulance so starting this year no more extra fees. But if you decide to come during open day - you will need one.

The day starts around 7am for Registration, 8:30am for Drivers Brief, 9am track opens, 15mins per session, track close around 4pm.

Because the day is limited to 55 cars, we get around 4 to 5 sessions which is plenty...I only get to drive 4 sessions out of 5 as by the 5th one..I'm too tired to go out there.

We are also organising an overnight stay in the Cabins at the track and need to book it by Wednesday. Cost around $60 per person.

Hope these covers everything. :D

Edit:: been told that there are only 10 spots left
