look for the trac button on the console near the shifter.

there may also be a fault in the trac control system, if the light stays on permanently. you'll have to take the car in for diagnosis.

That's the fun of purchasing an already modified car - there's no telling what's been tinkered with or how to 'un-tinker' it...

Good luck with the traction control, there's a little bit about the Power FC and possible interactions with the traction control system in this thread: http://forum.altezzaclub.org.au/index.php?showtopic=3230

Where are you located frizzles?

Is there a yellow light in the bottom left corner of your gauges infront of you that stays on permantly?

Is your car manual/auto (perhaps even just a disconnected TRC OFF button?)

If yours is a manual, and your console under your headunit looks likes this:

Tried seeing if the cables are disconnected to the back of the plug at all? (the whole tray with the red box around it just pulls out literally, grab it from the bottom and just pull, see if the wires are connected to the back)

Hi Frizzles and welcome to the club. I cant offer any info on this one but I would love to know how they managed to switch it off as I hate having the traction control on and it would be nice not to hop in and switch it off every time. I will keep posted to see how you get on.

Could you not replace the "soft" switch with a regular mechanical on/off switch?

Remove the TRC fuse from the engine bay.

Remove the TRC fuse from the engine bay.

That could also perhaps get your traction control back too frizzles. Check that and replace the fuse too maybe.
