Nice post, Jase!

Always interesting to read these reviews, and see if they review it based on it's compromises to performance, or it's compromises to comfort!

An iS200 has short suspension travel? Strange, because the IS200 has one of the best ride/handling compromises available at that price, IMHO.

Interesting anecdote re: the inline 2.5 litre and 2JZGTE proposal for the IS. More stories which never seemed to eventuate!

Nice that this article namechecks Katayama-san also. Which should have a virtual shrine to this guy somewhere. Put his pic at the top of the forums. Have an annual cruise in his name. Glen here in Sydney has had the fortune of meeting Katayama and hanging out with him here in Sydney for the day. He has Katayama's signature on his TRD strut brace.

Nice also to see that they make note of the IS's above-average in gear acceleration. 0-100 times doth not a car make!

... and if the IS200's is short, what word do we use to describe the Altezza's suspension travel???

I have other magazine articles which ppl may be interested in. TB2 or Jase ... is there a collection in the forum, or perhaps should one be started? If so I should scan and upload these. Let me know!!

Cheers
David

I should get the higher res versions of those pics (yup, they're pics not scans) above converted to pdfs and added to the list then.
