Guy's, My cousin Lexus ignition is stuffing up. The ignition wont allow the key to turn the car on. It get stuck. He got a quote from Lexus for a new ignition set & two keys for about $500 plus. But unfortnately there none in Australia & have to wait to get it order from Japan. he cant wait that long. hahaha poor guy. Need help here guy's. Does anyone know where we could get a new set or even a 2nd hand one in good condition? Also prices would be handy. Pls advise. Thanks |

(moved to general discussion) Chan, have you spoken to Joe? I think he had to change his ignition a while back. Otherwise, wreckers perhaps? The problem you have is that there is a trasponder in the ignition barrel for the engine immobilizer, so if you change the barrel this will need to be reprogrammed for your key or you will need new door barrels if the key changes. |
