Hi,

i have a Altezza 200 ZED 2002 and i am looking for a standard radio cd unit can anyone help. There seems to be a lot of old model units around but i have been told that they have differant conections?

Erm from what I know, most the headunits (old to new) will have the same connections, as long as you keep the same systems between the two headunits (SatNav and SuperLiveSound System etc)

Superlive units goto the amp in the glove box and then off to the speakers, so there are less connectors on the head unit.

Non superlive units wiring goes direct to speakers.

Is there any easy way to tell if you sound system is the SuperLive one? Where should I be looking for the amp?

Open your glove box, and peek through the small gap above the back of the glove box, you should be able to see it... Easiest way to tell is go to the boot, look under the parcel tray, if the speaker size is a 7x10 and not a 6x9, you have SuperLive... :P
