im running tannabe sustec pro at the moment. they are ok, rattle and make a bit of noise, the car is sitting as low as they will go down. they handel ok. but bottom out every now and then. this is because to adjust ride height you adjust the spring travel. i am looking at upgrading to some HKS hipermax as i can go low and safe, because on the hipermax / D2 style suspenion, to lower the car you adjust the strut length and the spring has the same travel at whatever height you choose. |

i went asking round today. My quotes were: Mag and turbo, north shore: The D2 suspension is $2200 with cert. Mag and turbo, pamure: I can supply D2 coil overs but I have a set of Greddy ones that I could supply to you cheaper and they are far beta quality than the D2's. To supply and install with a certification would cost you $2325.00incl. Hyper tyres: i can do the d2 adj suspension fitted and certified for $2299 in your car. Thats all i got so far, but hope this helps. |

HKS are nice, but far too expensive new. TEIN are good, TRD are also a good package - afaik, everything else is not worth your while. Tein flex ftw. If you get the teins, they will come with an aussie warranty. |

Tein seem to be one of the better ones for the money. They supply a platform adjustable where you can adjust the cleavis instead of your spring, can get up to 70mm drop with these. Would stay away from D2s, lately I have had to repair a few of these after only being in the car for a year. |

HKS Hipermax II's are around 2.2-2.4k (AUD) new I got mine second hand and installed them myself with help from a mate, half a day job at home, or less than an hour at a mechanic that knows what they are doing |

be careful with teins as some models are known to be noisy ( ie knocking sound ) |

Kinway that TRD setup is for circuit racing, may be just a tad too harsh for the road  |

Actually, all coilover suspension kit is for circuit racing. If you only use for street. I would suggest you to buy TRD shocks and springs. Cheers, Ken |

I had knocking with my teins turned out to be sway bar links were worn and needed to be replaced as well as the radius bushes. Put new suspension in it brings out other worn parts that people dont think about. I get it all the time when putting new suspension in customers cars. |

Ive gt K-sport justies, including cert cost me $1900 how ever they are not pillow ball tops which can make hight adjusting a pain. They have started to leak but have got a 1 year warrenty how ever i dont miss every pot hole. Easily the best thing about them tho is how low you can make your car, its rediculous how low you can go im possitive that if wound rite down the wheels would be off the ground LOL |
