Relocating Ecu Computer; helphelphelphelphelp as anyone done this

I am wanting to move the battery and then put the ecu computer where the battery was, has anyone moved there computer and can you tell me the does and donts. :rolleyes:

The ECU had better be well shielded from the heat in the proposed location :P

There is actually a vent that runs into the side guard up where the battery is, so if you wanted to do it right I suggest you run a small duct out from the inner guard to the ECU..

I actually moved the ECU and battery. (well in the process) Its not as simple as you think there arealot of wires to be lengthened.. The end product is a good looking one. I moved my battery to the boot and the ECU has been tucked up inside behind the glove box and the aftermarket ECU is hiden under a custom catch can where you are going to mount the ECU.

Good idea to shorten the intake pipe, will allow the air to be cooler especially if you can grab some air from down behind the light.. (use some duct to pick up cold air from behind the spot light :) )

Look in the first photo i cant relocate to the boot as I already have one in there and there is no more room
