Just come accross this on trademe:
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-131632542.htm

Seems to have provision for the maf, could possibly extend intake with further piping to smoothen airflow over the sensor?

Dunno, whats your take?

unless you have an aftermarket ecu i wouldn't bother, pod's are bad news for altezza's, your std box will be far better with just a decent panel filter

I'm running a simota pod filter on mine and have had no problems with it. My pipe is longer and curved. Here's a pic

I'm running a home made pipe with a pod, and just did 600 km on 45l of 98. I regularly get better than 600km to the fuel light on my dail open road commute, and no, I don't drive like a nana. I think Andrew may have just fitted one of those Simota kits, but I'm not sure.

Where the MAF sensor is attached there is a PVC elbow inside the main pipe that hte snsor goes through.
