Anyone know a good way to fix some mild curbing? New car and the scuff marks annoy me.

I guess I'm a bit weird in that I really like the look of the standard mags so if anyone has a good source for good condition factory altezza mags I'd love to hear it.

Try Brugar Engineering in Wairau.

If not Aarow Wheels, or last resort call the Mag Repair Company.

Thanks. I tried mag and turbo in wairau tonight but they want to grind down the edges for $90 each. I'm not sure how that'll turn out

I've got a spare full set (4) of factory mags, but they do have some gutter rash.

I could post some pics if you're interested.

Or if anybody wants a spare, make an offer.

Take the tires off, use a belt sander to get rid of the curbing then start on the 120 grit wet and dry, then the 400 then the 600 finih with the 1200 grit. Best job you can do yourself, takes the time. I only do it myself as I already own this sort of stuff. If you were to purchase sandpaper, polish and consider your time $95 seems quite reasonable to me.

They're after $90 each so $360. Thanks for the tips though, my friend has a belt sander, might do this over the weekend. There's a little chunk out of one, would bog work?

As long as its a metal based or at least part metal bog itll be ok, i did see a guide about doing it somewhere, but best bet is to do what was already said above, and dont forget to clear coat once your done.
