17x7 Advanti F1 wheels in either a 8 hole or 10 hole fitment + 205/40*17 Tyres.
Will that fit into an altezza?
From what i know, altezza's factory rims are 5 hole?
Thanks

Altezza's are a 5x114.5 fitment. And by the sounds of it you are going for the same size wheels as factory? you will need to find out the offset for your wheels to see if they will fit and also check if they will clear the front calipers.

Also, chuck up some pics of the wheels too.

Here is the offset guide for our cars.

Thanks but i know nothing about offset, so that guide is pretty much useless to me?
The wheels are either these or very similar to these
http://www.advanti.pl/en/rim.php?id=43
I think picture shows 4 hole fitment? I can get mine in either 8 or 10 apparently.

p.s. I don't physically have the wheels with me at the moment, hopefully getting them soon. The reason being for these specific wheels is that I won them, so no choice for me basically.

Thanks

EDIT: Found a better picture. This shows half the wheel but is exactly the same as the picture on my voucher...

The wheels in your pic and single hub racing style only so you'd want to own an F1 open wheeler.

The F1 style wheels you'd need a 5x114.3 with a +24 offset ideally.
Too high an offset and the rims will rub on the side. Too low an offset the rims will rub on the outside of the gaurds.

7" are pretty common and not all that big so you should be able to get away with a fair bit +- from the ideal figure.

Offset determines how many mm from the center point of the 7" width the wheel stud mounting point, hence how much of the 7" will be left or right of the center of where the wheel sits on your hub.

Or just google it, a diagram explains it better.

Also, can anyone tell me if these would fit an altezza? The offset appears to be +40 as shown in the last pic?

Thanks

p.s. Pics are prob a bit big...

Was looking at that, but noticed the next spoke says 4x112.5 or something. Obviously it's so they can make one wheel and drill whatever holes are needed into it, and somewhere on the back of the wheel will be the correct weight rating.

It just generic stamping on the casting mould, so they use the same mould for 4 x 100 5 x 114.3 etc etc

What tyres are they, never seen anything like them here in Oz

Yea i noticed that too, but you guys say it will fit, so all good with me xD

These are the tyres. Apparently the brand Accelera is a Mag and Turbo exclusive brand?
I was also told these tyres retail for $160-$170 each...which seems a bit cheap...

Yay!! Plastic tyres!

They have a really hard compound which means they will last for quite a while but
you will love how slippery they are in the wet :D

Also known as triangle tyres... Brought in by YHI NZ IIRC

I don't think they're quiet as bad as Triangles. The Accelera Alpha fared very well in the Wheels 2008 tyre test. I priced some up in 215/45R17 but they weren't any cheaper than Dunlop or Bridgestone.

We are getting pretty good wear from them (rears) and havent noticed any traction issues compared to the DZ101's we had on before and only got ~9000 k's from them. Our driving style is the same (nana). That being said not sure if i would use them as fronts

May have something to do with our diff spinning the inside wheel ?, we have a sharp turn at the ends of our driveways and we chirp quite often at intersections when we turn
If a man speaks in the forest and isn't heard by a woman is he still wrong ?.
