Any ideas what could be causing this?

When the wheel is turned its making a loud creaking noise. Most obvious when going slow, i.e parking etc. Cant hear it when going more than say 40kph. Im guessings its because the road noise is starting to drown out the creaking noise but i could be wrong.

The noise seems to be coming from the left hand tyre at the front. Have looked and there is no sign of tyre wear or something rubbing against it.

Its pretty loud. People look at me when it happens <_<

Also once when I was driving it it was making a loud knocking sound when going over bumps. That only happened once but it was loud enough to be heard easily by me and passengers and noticeable over bumps.

Am going to have it looked at some time this week.

Any ideas? Maybe a good excuse to put the tein cs in that i brought if it turns out to be suspension

Shocks?

I had a one off loud knock sound when I go over speed bump too fast. (Using Koni Yellow Sport Shocks + stock springs)

Also cracking and knocking might be from wear out front castor arms rubber bushes?
I make vinyl stickers!

Get the ball joints looked at first. My LH one used to make a cracking noise before I replaced it. Could also be steering tie rod & rack ends.
Might as well check out the sway bar links while you're there.
