Hi guys I've starting having this strange gurgling noise coming from the engine somewhere. It's very apparent and only seems to happen after hard braking to a complete stop with the brake still pressed. When I lift the pedal it goes away. Also, it happens more on downhill braking to complete stop. Anyone had this problem before? |

Might be my motor mounts need replacing after reading a gazillion forums This might start to make sense, because I get a heavier belt squeel when I brake hard too, so somethings moving hard... |

Engine mounts won't affect belts, nor will anything to do with the brakes. Check brake pads for a start, brake fluid replacement might be a go but boiling fluid wouldn't make any noise, you'd just get a 'no brakes' situation... Burp your radiator too, just to make sure. |

There was a thread on this about 12 months ago from on of the NZ altezza boys... I can recall it being related to air bubbles that had to be 'burped' from the system |

There are 2 types of thread lock available: 1) Permanent (normally red) 2) Removable (normally blue) Would go for the blue if your worried about not being able to remove them later on

Cool thanks I just don't want to endup having to drill them out Even red should be fine as long as I can apply enough torque to get them out |

Did you torque them up with a torque wrench to the correct specifications? Are the threads ok on both the bolts and the thread inside the housing of the compressor? |
