It could be possibly done, but with a lot (I mean a lot!) of experimenting with tyres, maxed camber, pumped and flared guards and constant scrubbage! Also not just pumped out with a baseball bat, physically having to refabricate the guards and respray the guards afterwards.

You will also have to junk the Tein CS for something a lot stiffer..

I say do it :D

Spoke to one of the most knowlageble people on this subject... maybe i will do it   B)

You can do it if you have stiff coilovers, stretch tires, roll/pull fenders, and don't care if you still rub a little

http://my.is/forums/f95/twestmans-ggp-390761/

Travis is now running a 18x9 +25 and 18x10 +33 with 215/40/18's and 245/35/18's.

You're going to be 8mm more aggressive in the rear, so you'd be better off with a 235/40/18 and flaring the fenders a little bit to fit them. A 225/40/18 would fit easier, but I personally wouldn't run that big of a stretch (personal preference though).

The fronts will be 1mm different, so a 215/40/18 will work. You'll need to roll the fenders and possibly flare them a little too.

Talking to Travis, the rear rubs when the rear is fully compressed. That would be solved with stiffer coilovers (he has 8k spring rates on Apexi's). But he said the fronts have less than 1mm of clearance when turning, so he rubs a good bit there. Obviously if he raised it it wouldn't be a problem, but that is a choice you have to make.

On the rear, you'll also have to shave down the bumper tabs and hope it doesn't rub there.

It's definitely doable if it's the setup you want. One of the biggest things will be stiff coilovers. Then how much work you do to the fenders.

If it were me, I'd set the ride height I want, roll the fenders a little, test fit, roll, test fit, roll, test fit, etc. until it's the look you want and you don't think it will rub. Then tape the fender/wheel well up and go for a drive. If you rub, it should show up on the tape and you can fix the problem. If not then you're good to go.

You can also PM Travis about it and see what he says since he has actual experience with it. Everything I've said is from reading others posts combined with what I've seen from my setup, which isn't rear aggressive enough.

Oh and another thing, ill roller ran 18x9 +25 and 18x10 +25 with 215/40/18's and 225/40/18's. He didn't flare his rears as much as Travis, but he had custom front fenders made. Miss_is300 also ran 18x9 +25 and 18x10 +25 with a 215/40/18 and 235/40/18 (I think, she might have ran a 225/40/18 though). She ended up switching wheels because those were too impractical.

If I could get new wheels, I'd get 18x9 +30 and 18x10 +35 with a 215/40/18 and 235/40/18. I test fit a 9 +32 up front and this is how it looked (18x9 +37 with a 5mm spacer and 235/40/18)

I hope that helps. If you decide to do it definitely post pics! Good luck and if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Corey
