Hello I have plans to Altezza + swap 2JZ-GTE Non-VVTI with Transmission auto in july. Need advice to buy the piece of engines for Replaces complete to engine. For example, I want to do well as the photos. ![]() My list: 2jz front main seal 2jz rear main seal 2jz serpertine belt Oem Thermostat Timing Belt Ider Timing Belt Tensioner Oem Timing Belt Oem Water Pump Water Pump Gasket Oem 2jz engine gasket Aluminum Pulley Set Factory Valver Covers Oem Oil Pump Coil Pack for 2jzgte I want know that what is needed to complete it. :suspiciou I know more things missing, like radiator, intercooler, turbo timer, gauge, hose, suspension, fuel system, sparks in, blow off, etc. .. I just wanted to specify the engine to make full Replaces only.:P My purpose is that I want the 2JZ-GTE Non VVTI engine is completely stock, more healthy and more durable. Thanks |

If you're going that full out you might as well do the head gasket too, oh and while you in there do the rings, conrod bearings, big end bearings, give everything a real good clean inside and out so when you full it up with 5w30 Castrol Edge it stays nice and golden for ages! |

Thanks leiden for advice Also i forget about more parts, i think that since i seem to be doing everything that a 100,000kms service entails (and possibly even more) I would also include the following items. CAM Seals. Gaskets and Rubber Washers for the CAM (Valve) Covers. Coil Pack Connector Clips. Harmonic Balancer (either OEM or ATI; I would lean towards ATI). Sump plug bolt + washer(s); get a few washers and keep them handy. That's all I can think of for now. |

Very thorough approach so far, though Im afraid this is a mere drop in the ocean compared to the cost and heartache of the conversion to come. Dont blow the budget before you get started, just get it in and running first, you never know what the conversion gods have in store for you! |
