I am thinking getting this at a very good price, but I am not really sure about the sound. I don't want anything extra loud but something with a deep sound.

On the other hand the exhaust is gold and i AM not really sure how is going to look on a silver car.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

Cheers.

Just my 2 cents, but try to stay away from the bullet type (straight through muffler). They look good and sound pretty good at low revs, but get it over 3000rpm and it will sound bad. I mean real bad. I'm on my third muffler now, and I learned that the best way to go is get a baffled muffler (oval or race-track sort of shape). The HKS Super-silent is a great option (though not cheap), and you still need to be careful on what you change with the rest of the exhaust. SilentOne is going through the process now of finding the right set-up. TRD is also a good option, but also quite expensive. Good luck. I have been told by a couple of exhaust shops, that the Altezza is on of the hardest cars to find a decent sounding exhaust for :(

Thanks alot mate. Well, I heard the same thing. The oval ones are the ones that would match the IS200, however there are few straight that will do the job just fine, but it will cost quite alot.
