How close do I need to be to the recommended offset (from the guide on here) to ensure that the wheels I'm looking at will fit? I'm looking at some 5x114.3 17"s but the offset is 35p and the guide says 46. Will these go on ok or wll I have problems? I don't have tyres yet so I coulds get whatever would be best there if that would help? Thanks guys

Depends on the width of the wheel then the width of the tyre you put on, how much camber you'll be running and whether you have rolled/pulled your guards or anything like that. |

If they're 17x7" they'll be sitting 11mm further out than the stock rims, should be fine depending on the tire size. I'm running 17x8, 30p offset and they just fit(with 215/40 tyres) without rolling, so even with 17x8 35p they should still fit fine. They will definitely sit wider than factory though. |

Sorry, I ment to put that they are 7.5 wide and the offset is actually 38 not 35. The guards aren't rolled and like I said eariler, I don't have the tires yet so I can get whatever it'll take to make them fit. I would like to have it lowered but don't want them to scrape if that's possible |

17x7.5 +38 is very much safe to fit with no need of rolling or pulling. You can even put a 225 or 235. Lowering will also add a natural camber and will add to the clearance as well. |

So after asking you all about if they fit or not someone else bought them Ok, I've found another set that should be fine but again I just want to check first. They are 17x8 and the offset is 36.5 I've checked on the offset guide and the lowest is 36 so that should be sweet. I've got a set of 215/45/17's that I want to put on them so would they be ok without having to do any mods? I'm going to lower it as soon as the wheels are on so I need to consider that too. |
